Ocean and Earth provides a lifetime warranty on the Apex, Hypa and Cor_X surfboard covers. This warranty is valid for the product’s lifecycle. The warranty covers exclusively defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage due to use or normal wear and tear. The decision on whether a product falls under the warranty is at the sole discretion of Ocean and Earth. This decision will be based on objective criteria, such as the condition of the product and the date of purchase.

In case the warranty claim is considered valid, Ocean and Earth may, at its discretion, repair the defective product or if repair is not feasible or economically viable, Ocean and Earth may choose to replace the product or replace the product with a similar one.

To initiate a warranty claim, the consumer must return the product to Ocean and Earth with the original purchase receipt and their warranty certificate, if applicable.

While the warranty does not cover damage due to use or normal wear and tear we can assist with repairs at a fair and reasonable fee. Customers will be responsible for all freight costs associated with the transportation and repair of the product as advised by Ocean and Earth.

Ocean and Earth er et Australsk selskap for surfetilbehør grunnlagt av Brian Cregan i 1979 i Sussex Inlet på Sørkysten av NSW, Australia.

Som profesjonell surfer fra Sussex Inlet, ønsket Brian å støtte sin surfing og reiselivsstil. I stedet for å skaffe seg en vanlig jobb, registrerte han navnet Ocean and Earth og begynte å produsere og selge sitt første produkt, en surfe leash.

"Jeg vant en leash i en surfekonkurranse, og den røk, så jeg tenkte jeg enkelt kunne lage noe bedre, og det er der det hele begynte." Brian var allerede en kvalifisert snekker og laget skateboard og tjente nok til å finansiere sin spirende profesjonelle surfekarriere, noe som førte til at han endte på 39. plass i verden i 1978.

Ocean and Earth ble dyrket frem i ulike garasjer i Sussex Inlet, og tok et gigantisk sprang i 1978 i Sør-Afrika, da Brian ble introdusert for mulighetene med leasher av uretan materiale av sin gode venn og tidligere verdensmester i surfing Shaun Tomson. "Jeg visste at det var fremtiden, så jeg tok med en tilbake, skaffet materialene og gikk derfra."

Nå ansett som verdensledere innen surf leasher og tilbehør, minnes Brian de spede begynnelsene til Ocean and Earth med glede. Genialiteten med å lage Surf Accessories til lokale surfbutikker er at folk generelt kjøper leasher der det er kvalitetsbølger. Dette betyr at forretnings-/fornøyelsesturene (før ting ble mer alvorlige) ble perfekt blandet. "Åh Indo, Fiji," minnes Brian. "Vi dro til Tahiti for å lande et par avtaler, så det ville vært uhøflig å ikke sjekke ut surfen. Og det var fantastisk." Brian fortsetter med å si at forholdene som ble dannet med småfohandlere er avgjørende for Ocean and Earths lange levetid.
