The Diné Skate Garden™ emerged as a labor of love within the tight-knit community of Toadlena, also known as "Tóhaaliní" (Where the Water Flows Out), nestled in the Two Grey Hills chapter of the Navajo Nation. In this remote enclave, outdoor recreational facilities are a rarity, but the resilient spirit of the community, fueled by a DIY ethos, prevails. Our journey with this project began through the introduction to Diné artist and surfskater, Di’orr Greenwood, who just so happens to be the Swirl Surfskate Fest 2022 champion. As conversations unfolded, a natural partnership emerged. With Di’orr at the helm of the artwork, crafting a visually captivating Navajo graphic, this collaboration aspires to make skateboarding accessible to indigenous youth. Together, we aim to transform lives through the empowering spirit of skateboarding.
Adorned with striking Navajo graphics by Diné artist Di'orr Greenwood, this board is a fusion of precision engineering and artistic flair. With it’s wider spooned nose and big tail, this board is a powerhouse packed into a 31.25” length.

C7 Trucks
This is the signature truck that started it all. Still the smoothest turning, fastest pumping surf truck ever, it's at the leading edge of true surfskate performance. The patented second axis of this front truck not only increases the turning radius of your carve, but lets you snap the nose and pivot your turns off the tail. This dynamic creates thrust and drives you forward with increasing speed. The striking similarity to surfing performance has made the C7 the choice for surf training by Pros and Ams alike.

Alt begynte en stille sommer i Venice, California i 1995. Greg Falk og Neil Carver hadde surfet hele vinteren og gledet seg til å surfe seg gjennom de varme sommerdagene ved Breakwater, men det var paddeflatt. Ikke engang en longboardbølge som kunne rettferdiggjøre å bli våt. Så, som de mange generasjonene før dem, tok de til gatene med skateboard på jakt etter bakker å surfe i. De historiske nabolagene Venice og Santa Monica er nærmest en skatepark i seg selv med bratte smug og skråninger, og da de satte utfor disse asfaltsbølgene, ble de slått av hvor ulikt surfing det var.
Det trengtes noe lateral bevegelse, mer som å dra nesen sidelengs mens man fortsatt er fullstendig i kontakt med asfalten. For å oppnå dette, trengtes det en slags fleksibel arm som tillot denne laterale bevegelsen, og etter utallige skisser, sveiset de sammen den første Carver-prototype trucken i den forfalne garasjen bak Neil's hus.
Det har gått over 20 år siden den flate sommeren, og Carver er fortsatt i full gang og vokser fortsatt.
