France in October

If you´re a surfer who keeps an eye on global happenings you would have noticed that the south west coast of France has had one of the best weeks of 2014. Forget Indo, Maldives and Morocco, perfectly shaped a-frame waves barreling under 26C sunshine can be found less than a three hour flight from Oslo. In late October no less!
While the region is by no means a secret the locals are not renowned for the early starts, so early uncrowded sessions are easy enough to find.
Phil Pope, Seamus Fox, Garth Brooks Paul Steenhauer or Ryan Roberts just happened to be in the area and scored a more than fair number of epic sessions in a 5 day trip. Please feel free to punch them if you see them in the streets of Oslo.
